New product! Wensvaasjes<\/a>! If you know me or have been following me for a while, you know that mental health is very important to me. For someone who is struggling, a small gesture can make a big difference. Just feeling like you're not alone, feeling like you're not forgotten, that you're not a burden to others, just something positive. But for others, it can sometimes be hard to find the right words, or to assess what someone else needs, or there's the fear of not saying the right thing, making the situation worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lately, I was reflecting on all of this while throwing pottery, when I thought: what if I made small vases with a symbolic message? They can be sent or simply given. With words or without. Different from a greeting card, where you search for the right thing to say, different from a bouquet of flowers that wilts \u2014 but still with the imprint of a beautiful leaf, because who doesn\u2019t find peace in nature?\n\nThis way, together, we can offer many people a little support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s how the idea of the wish vases was born!\nBy the way, they\u2019re also very fitting for occasions like a birth, a wedding, or simply to give to someone. For example, I made the vase in the photo \u2014 the very first wish vase \u2014 to congratulate someone on becoming a parent.\n\nThe ginkgo symbolizes hope, resilience, and a long life. Fitting, right?\nThey\u2019re larger than mini vases, come in various shapes and sizes, but are no bigger than about 10 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wish vases come with a beautiful card that explains the symbolic meaning of the leaf on the vase<\/a> and a ceramic heart. On Friday, I will offer them for the first time during the insta sale.
