Photographer in Maastricht: Steffie \u2013 Your Moments, My Camera<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello! I'm Steffie, a passionate photographer from Maastricht, but I work all across the Netherlands<\/a>. As a born and raised Maastricht native, I have a special connection with my city, but my work as a photographer takes me everywhere. With over 14 years of experience in photography, along with my work as a ceramic artist, I capture the most beautiful moments. I am a balance of introversion and energy, always open to new experiences, and I love being surprised by life. In addition to my work, I am a mother to two boys, Julius (12) and Oscar (10). Together, we make a close-knit team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My love for photography has always been present, but it wasn't until my first son became seriously ill that I truly realized how important photos are. The photos I took in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) gave me the strength to reflect on the special moments during a difficult time. That experience inspired me to capture and make valuable memories tangible for others as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real Moments, Pure Memories<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a photographer, I capture real moments with love. Whether it's a spontaneous laugh or a serious look, I capture you as you are. My style is pure and relaxed, without forced poses. For me, photography is about creating images that evoke memories, images that tell a story. I adapt my approach to the person in front of my camera, because everyone is different: where one feels immediately at ease, another finds it exciting to stand in front of the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ceramics: Creativity in Form<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to my passion for photography, I have also discovered my love for ceramics. As a ceramicist, I create unique, handmade pieces that combine functionality and aesthetics. Working with clay offers me peace and concentration, a beautiful contrast to capturing dynamic moments behind the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My ceramic work is an extension of my creative expression. On my Instagram page, I regularly share new creations. Whether it's a unique mug for your morning coffee or a special dinnerware set for special occasions, each piece is made with care and attention<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photography<\/a> and ceramics perfectly complement each other for me. While I capture moments with photography, I create tangible objects with ceramics that last a lifetime. Both disciplines allow me to express my creativity in different ways, creating valuable memories and objects for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a world where everyone takes photos with a smartphone, it's often easy to forget the importance of a good photo. However, photos are so much more than a snapshot.
