Wish Vase Fern

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that mental health is an important theme for me. For those who are struggling, a small gesture can sometimes make a world of difference. The feeling that you’re not alone, that you are seen, that you’re not a burden—something small, something positive. At the same time, I know it’s not always easy to find the right words or to know exactly what someone needs.

While throwing the pottery, I thought: what if I make small vases with a symbolic message? Something tangible that you can give or send, with or without words. No flowers that wilt, no card where you endlessly search for the right sentence—but a ceramic vase, with the imprint of a leaf from nature. Because it is precisely there, in nature, that many people find peace and comfort.

That’s how the idea of the wish vases came about. Each vase bears the imprint of a leaf and comes with a card explaining the symbolism of that leaf. There’s also a small ceramic heart included—a little extra gesture of care. The vases are bigger than mini vases, but never taller than about 10 cm. Each one is unique, handmade in various shapes and colors.

They’re there to give someone a little support. But also very beautiful for a birth, wedding, or just because—to let someone know: I’m thinking of you.
