Description
Creating a vase like this is a unique process. On the one hand, I work intuitively, while on the other, I consider form, shadows, and the interplay of lines. When I finished shaping this piece, it strongly reminded me of a heart. I knew immediately it had to be green. A green heart, with lines, sometimes long and flowing, sometimes short and interrupted, sometimes following themselves and sometimes merging into another shape, symbolic of life.
